Ningxia Northern Hi-Tech Industry Co., LTD. Achieves Breakthrough in Recrystallized Silicon Carbide Saggar Technology
Recently, Ningxia Northern Hi-Tech Industry Co., LTD. has made another significant breakthrough in the field of advanced ceramic materials by successfully developing recrystallized silicon carbide (RSiC) saggars. These products feature excellent high-temperature stability, thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance, enabling long-term use in environments exceeding 1600°C. They are widely applicable in high-temperature sintering processes for lithium battery electrode materials, magnetic materials, and powder metallurgy.
This R&D project was based on the company’s independent intellectual property platform and carried out in close collaboration with upstream and downstream partners. After several months of intensive development—including material formulation, structural optimization, and process tuning—the team successfully overcame critical technical challenges in dimensional stability, oxidation resistance, and service life. Verified through multiple customer pilot tests, the saggars demonstrated outstanding performance and adaptability under various sintering atmospheres.
The successful development of recrystallized silicon carbide saggars marks a solid step forward for the company in the field of high-temperature functional ceramics and provides strong support for domestic substitution and quality upgrading of key equipment components.
